Now Hiring - Inside Sales Position: Small Business Lending in Birmingham, MI

First Union Acceptance, located in Birmingham, MI, is a pioneering Fintech company that provides credit to small businesses. We are seeking a full time Inside Sales Associate for our Small Business lending platform. First Union’s Michigan office is a small fluid credit team serving national sales teams and client base. Successful Candidates MUST LIVE WITHIN the SE Michigan region. Successful candidates for this position have been detail oriented communicators who can work well as competitive player within a fast-paced small team environment.

Position Description

Our ideal candidate will have some B2B sales or relationship management experience. The Account Manager needs excellent communication skills, as they will be working daily with our external sales reps and directly with our borrowers. Additionally, candidates must thrive in a competitive, fast paced, metric driven, transactional environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage current customer accounts, renewals of modifications of the same
• Build relationships and maintain external sales partners remotely via phone/email/text
• Work as part of a metric driven underwriting and marketing team.
• Meet tight deadlines
• Manage a multitude of tasks in a timely fashion
• Provide support for independent external sales teams.
• Monitor customer receivables and renewal opportunities.
• Review and provide initial filtered credit scores for inbound applications

Relevant Experience

• Must have B2B direct sales experience.
• Some accounting or finance coursework or real world experience in the same.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• An ability to work independently but also be a team player
• Time management skills, as this role will be servicing multiple clients
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
